We are pleased to have worked with Karen Rosetto of Lifescapes on two occasions. In our current home she designed our backyard landscape, which includes a beautiful curvilinear hardscape with a patio, seating wall and planters, as well as a beautiful water feature. The planters are above ground level, which gives our fairly small backyard a great deal of depth and visual interest. For plantings, Karen chose a mixture of evergreens and flowering perennials. Her plant choice provides us a wonderful variety changing colors from early spring through the fall. Karen is very knowledgeable and creative, and she listens carefully. She stayed in close touch with us and our project from start to finish. In short, we could not be happier with Karen's design, and we recommend her highly.

Karen is an absolute professional. She listened carefully to our needs and incorporated them into the master plan. Her patience with us was limitless. At one point we asked for a dog run and she provided us with two options only to have us change our minds. We NEVER felt rushed into making a decision. It was so much fun to go through the creative process with her, and learn about plant options conducive to our region.
Karen introduced us to Jeff and Brock of Naturally Designed Landscapes who implemented
the design and were equally exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better trio of people.

I'll also add that a neighbor used Lifescapes, too. A very different look but equally tranquil and beautiful.

"Your yard is beautiful" is a phrase I hear over and over.  That wasn't the case before I hired Karen as a landscape architect.  Karen drew up a design that we installed in several stages.  This included both hardscape and plant materials.  She designed and oversaw redesigning the driveway with the addition of pavers, bringing in boulders, adding berms, a fountain, creating two separate stone paths, and adding both path lights and up lighting.  This was over a two to three year period.  I found Karen extremely talented, very professional, and lots of fun.  She definitely goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done with the best possible results.  I highly recommend Karen if you want a job well done and want to enjoy the process.

We hired Lifescapes to give us a landscape design on a brand new house on a 10,000 sq foot lot. The house is only 2100 sq feet leaving a very big space to landscape. Karen listened to our ideas, added her professional ideas and the outcome is fantastic. We had an open house this past weekend and everyone loved our yard. We have a dry river bed, a very urban fence and perfectly placed plants.

Central Oregon gardening and landscaping is so different than what we were used to! When we moved to Sunriver, we knew we needed the help of an expert. Following the advice of TV shows on HGTV, we interviewed three local landscape architects. They all were very knowledgeable but we chose Karen Rossetto because of her ability to really listen to what we wanted…creativity and drama! She guided us to choose plants that would not only thrive in our area but would provide exciting color and add unique pizazz to our landscape. Her design for the hardscape was equally detailed and sharp and ties everything together perfectly. Many neighbors stop to compliment us on our lovely yard and we are proud to give them Karen’s card.
